2016 brings another great achievement for Bausano & Figli S.P.A. that with pride and satisfaction celebrates 70 years of activity.
A brief look at history: in 1946, after World War II, years of ferment in Italy, where you can breathe, among entrepreneurs as Clemente Bausano, the desire to start again and rebuild the Italian industry. Bausano sets up in Rivarolo Canavese, a small town 30 km away from Turin, the Costruzioni Meccaniche Clemente Bausano: the first Bausano extruder is born, the TR model, with two penetrating and counter-rotating screws, a typical feature of all the extruders.
In the 60s, thanks to exports to new markets, the factory grows and changes its name, becoming Bausano & Figli S.p.A., with the first steps into the company of the sons of Clemente: Eraldo and Livio Bausano.
Many goals and satisfactions will follow, among all the others the revolutionary patented MULTIDRIVE system, still, to this day, flagship of Bausano technology.
To emphasize its international presence, among the 90s and 2000s two branches are opened: Bausano do Brasil in Brazil and Rajoo Bausano in India.
Bausano & Figli SpA is today among the most successful companies of extruders for plastics, present and known all over the world, a company that proudly has always remained family owned, seeing the entrance in the years of founder’s sons and nephews, who are carrying on with pride, satisfaction and motivation activity initiated by their ancestor.
Among the secrets of this success is certainly the continuing research and innovation such as new lines for PVC Tile Sheet, the WPC profiles, for medical lines and multi-layer extrusions, just to name a few .
One of the aspects that characterize the recent Bausano’s activity is the great attention to energy saving, energy saving for the same performance, introduced in the new machines, with which is possible to increase the hourly output also being able to reduce or maintain the energy consumption.
