Clariant has begun the expansion of its Cangzhou production site in Hebei Province, with a new line dedicated to the manufacturing of the multifunctional Nylostab S-EED additive, in partnership with local company Beijing Tiangang Auxiliary Co., Ltd. The new line will focus on producing additives compatible with nylons, in response to the growing demand for advanced solutions in the Chinese market.

Since 2021, the first joint venture site has reached full production capacity, establishing itself as a leading facility with a strong reputation both locally and internationally. Zhigang Miao, Clariant’s Global Head of Polymer Solutions, highlighted that this investment demonstrates the company’s commitment to supporting Chinese industries, particularly in the textile, automotive, and packaging sectors.

The new production line will manufacture Nylostab S-EED, an additive that provides improved thermal stability, heat resistance, and composite compatibility, enhancing the quality of nylon products during production. This additive helps reduce filament breakage during spinning and optimizes cycle times in injection molding.

The nylon industry in China is expanding rapidly, driving an increase in demand for high-quality additives. Nylostab S-EED is emerging as a key solution, offering significant productivity and quality benefits to meet the needs of this growing market.
