Dubai celebrates the biggest edition of Gulfood Manufacturing on its 10th anniversary

More than 2,500 global food and beverage manufacturing brands, 25% of which are exhibiting for the first time. Show features 90% of the industry's leading global brands

Gulfood Manufacturing, the world’s only annual food and beverage manufacturing event, is celebrating its 10th anniversary with its biggest edition ever, taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from November 5-7, with more than 2,500 food and beverage manufacturing brands from 72 countries exhibiting across 19 halls and nearly one million square feet of exhibition space, marking a 29% growth compared to previous editions.

Celebrating a decade of success and achievements, this year’s edition continues to attract leading food and beverage industry players at all levels of boards, officers, and executives across processing, packaging, ingredient sourcing, supply chain solutions, control and automation to present the latest innovations and technologies that enhance efficiency and profitability. This year’s edition includes innovative solutions in the areas of food biofortification, AI-based ingredients, nanotechnology-based packaging, micro-fermentation and smart supply chains, and aims to help brands gain competitive advantage and drive industry growth.

A global platform for food technology innovation

The highly anticipated Food Technology Summit will bring together more than 100 thought leaders and industry experts from around the world to explore the latest trends, innovations and challenges in the food and beverage industry.

Dr. Mark van Rijmenam, one of the world’s leading thought leaders in digital transformation and advanced technologies, will deliver the keynote address on the first day, covering the role of artificial intelligence in food processing, ways to improve automation, and the use of digital twins to enhance production. He will also review the potential risks regarding data privacy and the ethical use of AI.

This year, more than half of the summit’s industry-leading speakers are making their first appearance in the UAE, including Ethan Behrend, founder and CEO of Creative 3D Technologies, UN spokesperson on sustainable sanitation, and award-winning machine designer; Gustavo Berger, CEO of Believer Meats CEO of Believer Meats; Carsten Schellhaas, meat and protein substitute technology expert; Manar Kassar, multi-venture entrepreneur and co-founder of Kasu B2B platform; Jihyun Junga, CEO of Mush&, a pioneer in creating sustainable fungus-based foods, and many more.

Gulfood Manufacturing is firmly established as the leading event for the global food industry and this year will host 90% of the leading food, beverage and FMCG manufacturing brands, including Danone (France), Foster Clark (Malta), Kier (France), Kellogg Tolaram (Egypt), Kraft Heinz (Netherlands), Kraft Heinz Co.
