Farrel Pomini, the originator of continuous mixing technology for polymer processing including sustainable materials, has earned a gold medal rating from EcoVadis for performing in the top 5% of companies globally that were evaluated for their success in sustainable management systems.
EcoVadis rates businesses based on environmental impact, labor and human rights standards, ethics and procurement practices. The EcoVadis rating methodology measures the quality of a company’s sustainability management system through three management pillars: policies, actions and results.
“Farrel Pomini is honored for this rating by EcoVadis, whose globally recognized assessment system is invaluable for benchmarking our sustainability management system credentials”, said Farrel Pomini President Paul Lloyd. “We take our role in furthering sustainability and a circular economy for the plastics industry very seriously – and our internal operations and practices reflect that commitment. Our recognition by EcoVadis validates our activities and positions us to continue further”.
Participation in the EcoVadis assessment process allows Farrel Pomini to gain insights into its sustainability performance among its peers and connect with other companies committed to sustainability and decarbonization.
Farrel Pomini’s development of sustainable management systems is aligned with activities throughout the Hf Group. The EcoVadis evaluation follows Farrel Pomini’s ISO14001 accreditation in 2022.
