The latest creation by FB Balzanelli, TR0601CXS, has been on exhibit in the stand.
It is a fully automatic coiler with strap specifically for corrugated pipe extrusion lines.
Corrugated pipe production has reached speeds as high as 70 m/min. This is why FB Balzanelli has developed a new coiler capable of supporting such efficient extrusion lines while keeping the perfection of the coils and automatic palletizing possibilities unaltered.
The new machine completes the wide range of automatic coilers dedicated to corrugated pipes. With TR0601CXS, now it is possible to produce coils varying in length between 10 and 100 metres at high speed, and without changing the type of packing as one machine can cover all coils length. Also, the strap solution reduces the amount of plastic used for packaging compared with other solutions available in the market.
Every solution studied for TR0601CXS is aimed at optimising production, reducing transport costs, and meeting the market’s requirements.
The new TR0601CXS coiler is available in two versions: one with 4 straps and an internal diameter of only 100 mm, to reduce the coil dimension and optimize the transport cost and the other with 6 straps and an internal diameter of 180 mm, that is in any case one of the smallest available in the market and allow an important reduction of the transport cost.
All the advantages of the new TR0601CXS automatic coiler:
- No limitation of the external coil diameter. Even starting from very small internal diameters, the customer is free to choose the best configuration to maximise transport. Unlike coilers that use stretch film packaging, where the flanges collapse inside the reel core and it is impossible to get a larger external diameter when the customer works with a small internal diameter.
- New pneumatic strapping called XS+. The new strapping system is designed to drastically reduce the strapping cycle and in this way reach a complete cycle in just 15 seconds per 10 mts coil.
- Coil dimensions. It is possible to produce 10 metre coils with a speed of 40 m/min or sizes starting from 25 metres and more with a speed of 75 m/min.
- Fast reels change The new “pit stop” solution allows a complete reel change over in about 12 minutes.
- Greater coiler autonomy. It uses a 9 mm strap instead of the traditional 12 mm size. In this way the autonomy of the coiler is increased because the strap coil can contain 4000 metres of strap instead of the 2000 metres possible with a 12 mm strap. And it is also reducing packing costs.
- Compact size. Without relinquishing better performance in terms of speed, endurance and reliability, TR0601CXS was designed in a smaller size. Its 2300 mm width and 4600 mm length make it easy to install in a variety of production contexts.
