At the K show, INEOS Styrolution will focus on styrenic solutions for the circular economy. These solutions will contribute to the ambitious targets that were set by INEOS for 2025:
– Offer a range of polyolefin products for packaging applications in Europe containing 50% or more recycled content
– Use, on average, 30% recycled content in products destined for polystyrene packaging in Europe
– Incorporate at least 325kt/a of recycled material into products
– Ensure 100% of polymer products can be recycled
INEOS Styrolution is a global styrenics supplier, with a focus on styrene monomer, polystyrene, ABS Standard and styrenic specialties. With world-class production facilities and more than 85 years of experience, provides styrenic applications for many everyday products across a broad range of industries, including automotive, electronics, household, construction, healthcare, toys/sports/leisure, and packaging. In 2018, sales were at 5.4 billion euros. INEOS Styrolution employs approximately 3,500 people and operates 20 production sites in ten countries.
Together with leading collaboration partners worldwide, INEOS Styrolution creates and invests into recycling concepts for a wide range of styrenic products, like e.g. chemical recycling of polystyrene, taking advantage of the unique properties of the polymer.
