fire resistance in plastics 2020

AMI, leading provider of market intelligence and events for the global plastics industry, has just released the programme for Fire Resistance in Plastics 2020. The conference will take place on 30 November – 2 December 2020 at the Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel in Düsseldorf, Germany. This will be the 15th time this event will be held in Europe, which is well known in the industry as one of the leading global conferences for the latest developments in flame retardants and flame-retardant plastics.

Expert speakers from Clariant, ICL-IP, PINFA and more have been confirmed to speak on the latest developments in flame retardant materials and applications, as well as how they can be processed in the circular economy. This year’s programme gives a focus to how flame retardants are impacting the circular economy and the role they play in the global challenge of sustainability. Key presentations from representatives from PINFA, BSEF and Polystyrene Loop will illustrate the challenges and opportunities for recyclable and sustainable flame retardants.

Insights from expert speakers will also look at how flame retardants are meeting the increasing requirements in multiple and important end-use applications. As the automotive industry adapts to electric mobility requirements, presentations from Clariant, Eurotec, Adler Pelzer and ICL-IP will explore how flame retardants can accommodate this new application as well as improve performance in current automotive technology. Developments in different flame-retardant materials and systems will also be explored by speakers from Fraunhofer, Huber-Martinswerk, Crepim and more. In addition to industry presentations, the conference includes an hour-long interactive panel discussion looking to the future of flame retardants. Delegates will be able to ask their questions to the expert panellists on a broad range of topics relating to the future of flame retardants including market trends, sustainability, the effect of Covid-19 and more.

Bringing together key representatives and a global audience from all areas of the flame-retardant market, this conference is a must-attend event for anyone wishing to stay up to date on the latest developments in flame retardants and flame-retardant plastics. It offers unrivalled opportunities to network, exchange experiences and learn through interaction with colleagues, suppliers, customers and competitors.
