Sumitomo (SHI) Demag, Schwaig, has announced the next phase of the company’s succession plan following the retirement of incumbent CEO Gerd Liebig, who has led the Group for nine years.
Effective 1 September 2024, Christian Maget assumes the role of CEO. Drawing upon his deep internal knowledge of the business, Christian Maget is the natural choice for overseeing the internal operational aspects of the Group’s strategic direction. He will continue to assume management responsibility for human resources and IT. Christian Maget joined the company in 2013.
